From puppets to Bible classes, crafts to games, playtime to snack time, Mexicano children and American teens are engaged in something...and with one another.
This is our worship.
Making a child laugh
With their whole self,
Offering a house mama a hand.
Decorating cookies and cupcakes.
Sharing our weakness and your word.
Running, jumping, skipping rope.
Talking with smiles, a wink and an open heart
When our words and worlds are not the same.
Being together, eating together, praying together
Getting it together.
This is our worship.
Dear Lord, we pray it is pleasing in your sight.
Led in with joy and gladness, they enter the palace of the king. — Psalm 45:25

| Monday and Wednesday, several of our teens got honest and spoke to their Mexican counterparts about the challenges they experience in life. We don’t come here to lead. We come to encourage one another on the mutual journey we share, young, old, teens and adults, we are all on the same path. Just different places on the journey. The goal isn’t to get to heaven.... It’s for us all to get to heaven. God created the church community for a reason. |
