Tuesday -- At work and play in the City of Children
From the moment we arrive here, we're in constant motion -- playing with the children, making snacks, kicking a soccer ball in the plaza, jumping rope, staying alive on the nine-square court, taking part in a teen class or a devotional, making crafts, performing with puppets or the skit. It's all a blur of constant activity. We are using every precious minute we are here to lift a heart, make a friend, see and reflect Jesus. Because we don't have much time and there is so much to do...and we realize that's a metaphor for all of life and the next 52 weeks. There is so much for us to do.
